The ART HEIST – Save The Date!
The 9th Annual Art Heist is only two months away! Patrons of the Gallery are encouraged to stay tuned for more information and be ready to participate in this Gala on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at the historic Westerly Armory from 6-8:30 (41 Railroad Avenue). Tickets are scheduled to go on sale mid-July.
There will be an impressive selection of art valued at $250+ donated by members of ACGOW and additional local artists on view at the Gallery, starting August 5th. Heist Ticket-holding participants will have an opportunity to “heist” works of art while they enjoy an entertaining evening with artisanal hors d’oeuvres, locally grown oysters, desserts, open wine bar, Grey Sail beer, and music. Tickets are also available for attendance without "heisting".
Mother Nature’s paintbrush composes a stunning work of art across Southern New England during the month of June, and, after a long, arduous winter, the sights and scents of her handiwork are enjoyed by all. This June, the Artists’ Cooperative Gallery of Westerly (ACGOW) celebrates all she has to offer with their show, “Art in Bloom.” In addition to new and vibrant artworks, the Ocean Community YMCA Garden Club will add to the visual feast by interpreting specific artists’ creations in the form of flower arrangements, which will be on display during the 5 to 8 p.m. opening reception, June 5.
Our June show will also celebrate the artistic expressions of featured artists Kristie Foss and Karen Piazza. Please click the button, above, to learn more about their work.
