As an artist, I work to create paintings that speak to me and to others about the beauty of nature, the dance of light, and the mesmerizing essence of color. I want to work to improve my skills and satisfy my goal of continuous learning.   

       After working in Health Care for 45 years, I retired with the goal of continuing to learn something new to challenge myself. Painting with Pastels has given me the opportunity to fulfill this goal, while opening the right side of my brain to color and creativity. 

       At the same time, I now have a better appreciation for art of all forms, and a sincere respect for all artists. I am ever so grateful for this opportunity.
