Through the United in Arts Community Gallery, ACGOW continues its mission to support and nurture the visual arts in the community by exhibiting the work of different groups in the area.  In June, the gallery is pleased to present the work of the Southeastern Connecticut Life Drawing Group.

       Paul Flanagan, ACGOW Member and one of the artists that helps maintain the group states, “Life drawing, also known as figure drawing, is the practice of drawing and painting the human figure from observation. It is an essential discipline for artists and has a long history dating back to ancient times.”

       The artists of the SE CT Life Drawing Group have continued this venerable tradition for many years.
