If you are a working artist looking for gallery space and wish to join a unique community, the Artists' Cooperative Gallery invites you to submit your artwork for consideration as full-time Artist Member, or a part-time Adjunct, Snowbird or Associate. Join a fascinating community of painters, sculptors, photographers, mixed media artists, jewelers, glassmakers and more who network, promote and sell each other's art! Applicants are considered and reviewed at the gallery's end of month meetings by a jury of five members. Artist Membership (Full Time)

If you are a working artist looking for gallery space and wish to join a unique community, the Artists' Cooperative Gallery invites you to submit your work for consideration as full-time Artist Member. Join a fascinating community of painters, sculptors, photographers, mixed media artists, jewelers, glassmakers and more who network, promote and sell each other's art!

Members are required to fulfill obligations of serving on two show committees and one standing committee and to work one four-hour gallery shift per month. Volunteer opportunities are also regularly possible. Annual Dues are $280.

Applicants are considered and reviewed at the gallery's end of month meetings by a jury of five members. Applicants are notified of their acceptance within one week. For more information, click on the link to contact our Membership Coordinator for the date of the next meeting.

Artist Members receive the following benefits:

  • Commission free sales, except for yearly silent auction
  • Opportunity to show monthly
  • Submit smaller art to the Gallery Shop, in the medium for which you have been juried
  • Display prints of original work in the Gallery Shop print bin
  • Eligibility to be a Featured Artist
  • Interaction with patrons at Gallery Openings on the first Friday of every month
  • Publicity through ACGOW media coverage
  • Artist listings on ACGOW's website
  • Cash, checks and credit cards accepted for sales
  • Opportunities for additional venues to show work

Adjunct Membership (Less Responsibility)

Adjunct Members' work is also juried by five members of the gallery. Adjunct Members have no official gallery duties or responsibilities; however, some choose to participate in larger ways, such as in the installing of shows, helping on committees and attending monthly meetings at any time. Annual dues are $600, with a 20% commission taken on each sale.

Adjunct Members receive the following benefits:

  • Exhibit artwork every month
  • Submit smaller art to the Gallery Shop, in the medium for which you have been juried
  • Display prints of original work in the Gallery Shop print bin
  • Opportunity to be a featured artist for one month during the year

Snowbird Membership (Six Consecutive Months)

A Snowbird Membership is for those who prefer to be active in the gallery for six consecutive months within the calendar year. The application process is the same as that for Artist and Adjunct Members. During the six months of active membership Snowbird Members are required to fulfill the same responsibilities as Artist Members. They also fulfill obligations of serving on two show committees and one standing committee and working one four-hour gallery shift per month during their six months of active membership. Annual Dues are $200.

Snowbird Members receive the following benefits:

  • Opportunity to exhibit work each month during your active months
  • Request to be featured artist for one month
  • Submit smaller art to the gallery shop, in the medium for which you have been juried
  • Display prints of original work in the Gallery Shop print bin
  • No commission on sales

Associate Membership

There are no responsibilities within this level of membership and it is not necessary to use the form on this site to apply. Annual dues are $48. In your email include your name, address, phone number, medium, and website/Instagram addresses, if you have them. 

Associate Members receive the following benefits:

  • Opportunity to exhibit in the February Show. Work for this exhibit is juried for acceptance by that month's show committee. There is a small fee for each work submitted and a small percentage to ACGOW for works sold.
  • Opportunity to exhibit two pieces of artwork in the Regional Show in May, which has an invited juror from outside ACGOW. There is a small fee for each work submitted and a small percentage to ACGOW for works sold.
  • Opportunity to exhibit two pieces of artwork in the All Members Show in October
  • Opportunity to donate art and participate in the annual fundraiser, Art Heist
  • Receive regular email updates on events in the gallery
  • Receive invitations to ACGOW Member social events.
