Picture a luminous seascape, an intriguing abstract, a spectacular sculpture, piece of jewelry, or stunning work of art in another media of your choice. Now imagine going home with one of these pieces after you have enjoyed lavish, artisanal hors d’oeuvres, freshly shucked, locally grown oysters, desserts, open wine bar, beer, and live music.

You are anticipating the 7^th Annual Art Heist fundraiser for the Artists’ Cooperative Gallery of Westerly that will again be held at the Historic Westerly Armory! ACGOW members have donated artworks valued at $200 or more. For a $130 ticket, available at the Gallery, two people gain admission plus the opportunity to "heist" a work of art that is worth more than the price of their ticket—which also includes partaking in the food and drink aspect of the event. When the "heist" begins, your ticket number will be randomly called and you may choose an available work of art to own. What a steal!

Tickets to attend the entire event and partake of the food and drink aspect, but do not include the opportunity to acquire art, are $40 per person.

Some of the original artworks available to "heist" may be previewed in the Community Gallery at ACGOW throughtout the month of August in conjunction with our regular August show.

Catalogues of all works will also be available. Tickets are limited, so please pick yours up soon!
