­      I paint mostly portraits.

­      While I have done my share of lighthouse and covered bridge paintings, the human face is what really inspires me to pick up a brush or charcoal stick.

­      I find that painting portraits is both challenging and rewarding. I try to get my portraits to be accurate and pleasing to the eye, and if the gods are smiling upon me, to capture some of my subject’s élan vital.
